Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC)

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded C&T a 10-year, $25B contract vehicle to support data-driven health care quality improvement efforts across various settings and programs.

The NQIIC indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will cover several task order topic areas including behavioral health; patient safety; care coordination; nursing homes and long-term care; chronic disease self-management; and public health, according to the statement of work.

Through NQIIC C&T will help CMS empower doctors and patients to make health care decisions, support innovative ways to build up health quality, affordability and accessibility and improve customer experience.

NQIIC includes broad-ranged overarching tasks such as health information technology; direct technical assistance; recruitment; community coalitions; learning and action networks; and continuous improvement, measurement, data and reporting such as data collection and analytics.
